Software we own, operate, and answer for.
Three products, three markets, one engineering standard. This is not client work; it is what happens when the people who build platforms for a living build for themselves.
uHRMS
A complete platform for employee management, attendance, leave, payroll and statutory compliance — built in India and used by Underscore to run its own payroll.

What it does
Statutory payroll
Run payroll with PF, ESI, Professional Tax and TDS calculated from the same employee and attendance data. Generate payslips, statutory reports and Form 16 with less manual effort.
Attendance & leave
Manage attendance, shifts, overtime, leave and approvals in one place. Support manual, selfie, QR and offline attendance based on your workplace requirements.
One connected HR system
Employee data, attendance, leave and payroll work from the same system — reducing duplicate entry and keeping HR information consistent across processes.
What makes uHRMS different
Payroll you can trace. Payroll runs are locked once completed. Corrections create a new run, keeping the history intact and every figure traceable.
Compliance built into the process. PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Form 16 and labour registers are generated from the same payroll data.
Employee data stays protected. Aadhaar is never stored in full. PAN and bank account numbers are encrypted at rest, with access and decryption activity recorded.
Frequently asked
Yes. uHRMS supports key statutory payroll requirements including PF, ESI, Professional Tax and TDS, with statutory outputs generated from the payroll process.
Sensitive employee information is protected through encryption, role-based access and audit logging. Full Aadhaar numbers are never stored.
Yes. Employee records can be imported from platforms such as Zoho People, Keka and greytHR, with validation before the data is added to uHRMS.
Viveka
Viveka reads documents, applies your organization's own decision rules as code, and returns a decision with its reasoning attached.

What it does
The rule set is code, not a prompt
A deterministic engine applies your own eligibility gates, thresholds, ratios and cross-checks. Version-controlled, specific to your organization, and identical in output for identical input on every run.
Every field keeps its source
OCR and a two-pass model turn documents into named fields tracked per page, and every decision carries citations back to the source. Where two documents disagree, Viveka surfaces the conflict rather than selecting one silently.
Isolated per organization
Own rules, own prompts, own thresholds, and no shared state between organizations. Model calls are pinned to a specific region, enforced in code rather than policy.
Human review by design
Confidence-based routing with 2-eye or 4-eye verification, configurable per organization.
What it changed
Straight-through decisions. Routine files move from intake to decision without a person touching them. Cases route to review only below the confidence threshold your organization sets.
Review, not reconstruction. A reviewer sees the decision, its citations and the source document together in one place. Audit shifts from rebuilding decisions to sampling them.
Cycle time. Intake-to-decision time drops from days to minutes on the routine share of a file mix.
Built on AWS Bedrock, LangGraph and Temporal for orchestration, PostgreSQL, S3 Object Lock, Presidio and Stanza for PII detection. Every backend is swappable for a self-hosted alternative.
Frequently asked
Viveka is a document intelligence and decision-automation platform built by Underscore Technology. It ingests PDF, scanned, DOCX and XLSX files as a single case or a batch, converts them into structured fields, then applies your organization's rule set as deterministic code to return a decision with its reasoning attached.
No. Insurance is where it proved itself; the platform is general-purpose. Vertical editions exist for healthcare/fintech (Vantage) and real estate (PropTAGE).
Yes. Model calls are pinned to a specific region and enforced in code, observability is self-hosted inside the VPC, and every backend has a self-hosted alternative. Names, identifiers and addresses are tokenized before any model sees them, and masking fails closed: an error halts the case rather than proceeding unmasked. Viveka is built around these controls. It does not hold formal compliance certification, and we do not claim otherwise.
OtaWall
Publish to every screen from one dashboard, and control each display remotely — with live health status in place of site visits.

What it does
Remote device control
Monitor, restart and update every screen over the air from one dashboard, with live health status per device and grouping by location or campaign.
Content, scheduled
Upload media, build playlists and publish on a schedule, to a single screen or to the whole network, with an emergency broadcast override. Video is auto-transcoded to adaptive HLS so playback suits the connection at each site.
Menus render live
Menu content renders as native blocks rather than exported images, so a price change reaches every screen without a re-upload.
Secure by default
Passkey login, role-based access and encrypted sessions.
What it changed
Price changes in seconds. A price edit reaches every screen live — the export-image-and-reupload loop is gone.
One dashboard, every location. Head office holds the brand and each location holds its specials, with live health status per device rather than files emailed between sites.
Cost per screen. Low-cost Android hardware managed over the air, priced per screen so plans scale with device count.
Frequently asked
Low-cost Android and AOSP-based signage hardware — ask us for the current supported-device list for your region.
Yes. Brand-level templates carry per-location overrides: head office controls the look and each location controls its specials. Screens group by location or campaign, and role-based permissions with passkey login determine who can publish where.
OtaWall renders menu content as native, live blocks — change a price and every screen updates instantly — rather than re-uploading exported images. The remote device control and scheduling apply to any connected display; the live-rendering advantage is sharpest for menu-heavy multi-location operators such as restaurants, cafés and QSR chains.
Why it matters to services clients
Our products are why our client work holds up. Multi-tenancy, statutory compliance, media pipelines, document AI — we do not estimate these from documentation. We run them.

Begin with the process you would automate first.
A short description is sufficient to begin a conversation. We respond within one business day, and where an evaluation calls for an architecture walkthrough rather than a portfolio review, we will arrange it.
